The benefits of massage
Whether it is just to relax, as a therapeutic tool, for rejuvenation or just for some well deserved pampering; massage therapy is beneficial to your health. When taken in regular “doses” the benefits are exponentially powerful.
Massage therapy has been shown to help manage stress leading to:
- Decreased Anxiety
- Enhanced Sleep Quality
- Improved Concentration
- Greater Energy
- Positive Mood
Our therapists will provide individualized treatment tailored to your needs. Unless requested, you can expect the same therapist every time, no switching around and losing track of your progress.
Expect a different “chiropractic” experience
when going to Integra Spine & Sport Therapy. Dr. Elizabeth Baker, a graduate of Texas Chiropractic College and the University of Texas takes an approach unlike many doctors. By combining soft tissue therapy, exercise and chiropractic Dr. Baker finds her patients returning to normal life faster and remaining healthy longer. She provides individualized care in a one on one setting. There are no three minute appointments here. Most patient visits last twenty to thirty minutes; entirely with Dr. Baker. “Often times in the medical world patients get lost in the mix or are treated as a number. I do my best to listen and devise a plan that works with each patient.” reports Dr. Baker.
Expect more than just an adjustment. Dr. Baker has been practicing soft tissue therapies such as Active Release Technique (ART), Graston Technique (GT) and myofascial release for over 14 years. She sees the importance of not only treating the joint that has dysfunction, but the muscles, ligaments, tendons and connective tissue that may be overly tight, weak or scarred down. By treating the soft tissue and the joints, this allows patients to move quickly into exercises to return strength and stability to their body.
